Kenyatta is a Google Certified Trainer, Level 1 & 2 Google Educator, and Common Sense Media Educator. Kenyatta was named Chicago Public Schools "Tech Innovator of the Year" for 2015.
Additionally, Kenyatta spent two years working with Mozilla Foundation as a Community Manager stewarding the internet as a tool for innovation and learning globally. Kenyatta facilitates presentations, and leads workshops covering a wide variety of Educational Technology and Integration, Creative Tools, and Video Production and Editing.
Kenyatta draws on her experiences in the classroom to inform her work with educators in creating engaging and student centered instruction that enhance learning. She believes that leadership is making opportunities for other and considers her work with educators to be a source of empowerment that ultimately support leadership in students. She has a deep understanding of how to utilize technology in an innovative way to deliver instruction that propels students to become problem solvers.

Kenyatta holds a M.A. from National Louis University in Education and a M.F.A in Film/Video/Animation from University of Illinois-Chicago.
